雅思概述

    IELTS is a comprehensive test of your English proficiency. IELTS measures your ability to communicate using all four language skills: Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking. These language skills are increasingly demanded by international employers, education institutions and professional associations.

    雅思考试（国际英语语言测试系统）是听说读写四项英语交流能力的测试。它是为那些打算在以英语作为交流语言的国家或地区学习或工作的人们设置的英语语言水平考试。

    雅思考试分为两种类型，学术类和培训类。这两种类型的考试均由听力、阅读、写作和口语四部分组成。其中，学术类和培训类的听力和口语使用相同的试题，阅读和写作使用不同试题。前三部分考试（听力、阅读和写作）必须在同一天内完成。口语考试根据考点的情况可能会安排在其它三部分考试之前或之后。
